As you walk through the doors of Top Drawer, your senses will come alive! You will see beautiful vignettes of quality furniture and accessories, you will hear gentle music and friendly voices, smell the polish on the historical wood floors, taste the fresh coffee that is made just for you. There is something else I want to share with you about Top Drawer that only I can tell you. As a small child my mom made up a game that I worked on for hours. She would take a brown paper bag, cut it open and marks squares that represented rooms in a house. I would then cut pictures from the Sears catalog and fill the rooms. Interesting rooms started to appear. As the years went by, these floor plans became more detailed and I would imagine how people would live in the rooms. That was the beginning of a passion that I have had for as long as I can remember.

I graduated from the Sheffield School of Interior Design. I am a professional member of the Interior Design Society, completed the Council for Qualifications of Residential Interior Designer's exam, and I am an allied member of the American Society for Interior Design.

In the twelve years Top Drawer has been open, I have worked in Oklahoma, South and North Carolina, Virginia, all over West Virginia and Ohio. I have had the opportunity to meet some very interesting Interior Designers, such as Candice Olson, Joe Ruggiero, Bunny Williams and her dogs, Charles Faudree and I heard about his dogs and Karol Downs, who does not have a dog.

I read and study everything I can about Interior Design, I go to seminars, show houses, trade shows, educational tours, Europe twice, and I have an extensive library of decorating books. I feel to be the best in a certain field you must continue to learn and evolve everyday.

Your home should also evolve and change, just as you do. One of the ways I can help your home evolve is with a home visit and a master plan. During the visit I will measure your room, windows and collect important information. I want to know colors you like, items you brought back from vacation, meet your pets, and listen to your dreams. My goal is to make your home a reflection of you. I have a great team...Mike, my husband likes to think of himself as a silent partner. When you get to know him, he is not so quiet. He has kept our historical building in great shape and is in charge of the delivery crew. We feel that your project is important from the very first minute until it's carefully delivered to your home. We are fortunate to have a staff of office personnel, designers, house keepers, a drapery installer (Bruce, my son), a drapery work room that is out of this world, upholsters and carpet installers that love Top Drawer as if it were their own business and you were one of their family members.

I am hoping this web site will give you more insight about Top Drawer and help you get the same feeling that the people walking through the doors have...This is a team of caring, dedicated people that want to help you have a home of your dreams.
